Ceramic Letters

The ceramic letters I made were more difficult than I imagined as it was hard to make them thin without the clay falling apart or tearing when being lifted. What's important to do is use a small amount of Vaseline to prevent the clay from sticking to any surface when being rolled out. The glazes used were named 'perfect red' and 'denim blue', they worked quite well together as any primary colours do. The other piece shown was done by pressing down calligraphy parts and the stamp imprinter into the clay, this also needs to be done using Vaseline. After this some glaze pens was used for the finer details that can't be done with a brush.
